Artificial Intelligence in Live Performance

Led by Adrienne Wong with Xianzhi Jason Li

PhD Candidate Jason Li will give participants a basic background on how artificial intelligence works, and provide a curated survey of AI tools that include generative text, text to image, text to video, and more.

In the second half, artist Adrienne Wong will provide provocations and games for participants to explore the capabilities and limitations of these tools. 

Debriefs and discussions will also touch best practices to compose prompts for AI tools, the ethics and limitations of the technology, and projections for how AI might evolve in the future.
